ACCREDITATION
While Kingdom Come School of Missions & Ministry does not philosophically oppose accreditation, a strong consensus is emerging among institutions like ours that traditional academic accreditation is more of a hindrance than a help in accomplishing the purpose for which God has called us into being. The numerous rules and regulations of accrediting agencies and the increased administrative workload required to meet and maintain their standards often make the member institutions servants of accrediting associations rather than vice versa.
A number of widely recognized leaders have been prayerfully rethinking the way ministers are trained seeking instead to recover patterns and methods established by the Lord Jesus and His apostles. Our focus here at Kingdom Come School is not to establish bachelor, master, or doctoral levels of education, but rather train and equip young men and women as disciples of Christ. Helping to establish in them Godly Character, a passionate love for God and others, and an understanding of their gifts and call in God’s plan for their life. If we can accomplish that in their time here at Kingdom Come School of Missions & Ministry they will then be equipped for whatever life brings them. Many students may indeed decide in their future for need of formal education and receiving a degree in a specific discipline. That God will have them prepared to use their talents and knowledge to bring His Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven is our hope and belief. Our school then will have laid a proper foundation for them to build upon. |
